Detailer's Domain: 11 S4 - New Car Prep - Aquartz

    Brand new car prep - Adhesive residue left by dealer, a few scratches from the port. We stripped the car down, clayed, polished it out and applied Aquartz on the glass, and paint.
    Wheels were done with Opti Coat.

    What was done -
    Exterior

    - Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
    - Tires were spritzed down with Adam’s All Purpose Cleaner and washed down
    - Wheel wells were cleaned up
    - Pre Washed with W99
    - Iron Cut
    - Wash down and rinsed
    - Door jambs were cleaned up
    - Clayed
    - Dried
    - Tires dressed
    - Masking
    - Paint Measurement
    - 1 Step - Menzerna Super Finish
    - Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
    - Last Step – Aquartz
    - Rubber and Plastics Treated
    - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
    - Exhaust tips cleaned
    - Windows were clayed, cleaned, and sealed
    - Jambs steam cleaned

    the S6 wagon has a 6 speed manual trans from the 2.7t.

    Awesome work Phil! Any particular reason behind putting Opti-Coat on just the wheels? I'm looking to get a coating product and have been researching a lot.

    the opti coat is a apply and you don't have to remove it.

    however if you get high spots on the opti coat you will have to polish it down.

    aquartz has a slick finish and customers love to feel a slick car.

    I guess there aren't many of them in this color....I don't know, but it was in the option list

    love that pic as well should have somehow got the s6 in there as well.

    Daytona Gray is a paint option that is Audi Individual Option.

    s6 wagons were made only in 2002.
