Beast of a machine, but an expensive toy to own, especially in regards to upkeep/maintenance after 100K miles, right?

yes correct its a beast to drive as well as a beast on the wallet.

lol I think at 35K or 25K?? I forgot...U change the timing belt n all. The shocks are problems. when everything work like they suppose to, its a blast to drive. but im a RS4 guy =)

I love those cars, one of the best for a balance between daily driveability and some monstrous acceleration. Great job Phil, that car looks better than any of the best low mileage examples!

I have always loved the RS6!!! Especially in Misano Red!

But you are right Phil, these cars can get expensive to maintain. Especially now that the 03's are getting older and older....

every 35k you need a timing belt service for a tune of $2500-3000.

Front pads and rotors will set you back $1500-2200.

    Let's see what else hmmmm

Suspension which has been recalled by Audi.

And the weakest link the transmission....rebuild/heavy duty clutch etc would run $6k - 12k depending on what needs to be done.

    Its a beast!

or, I'd buy a nice 360 Modena. No wait, the maintainance costs would probably triple.
