That looks sexy, good job! I really like your attention to EVERYTHING under the hood, including the underside of the hood itself.
Whoa!! That's a beautiful car. Great attention to detail. Although I've never driven one, Audi's are becoming one of my favorite cars. I also like the fact that they've been featured in some great Hollywood movies. My two favorite movies with great Audi scenes are Ronin and Taken.
Looks great! Love the engine work, what's up with the carbon fiber and gold leaf? On a side note, if you put the Swissvax Cleaner fluid on after the menz. glaze, wouldn't that remove the glaze you just put on?
Holy wow I love that car..is the gold around the intake for reflecting the head from the engine..like in some of the high end exotic cars..very pimp!!
The gold is a heat reflective foil...i used some on the intake box to help with the heat (the turbo sits right next to the intake). And some on the hood, because the hood liner fell apart, and crumbled. So i thought this would be a little bit more trick. The carbon fiber is the intake cover actually. Its made by a company called Carbonio. And yes, i realized after i glazed the entire car, that the cleaner fluid would remove the glaze...i should edit the original post, because i didn't end up using the cleaner fluid. And Lastly, the wheels are LM replicas, they are a staggered fitment, kinda rare, and hard to come by in this size and such. I now roll on these.
Now that's how an Audi should look like! That gold makes you seem like the Sultan of arabia or something. But none the less, good job man :applause:
great looking ride and nice job with the detail. must say i prefer the look of the LM reps better though, and staggered setups are just sweet. so how can i go about getting a sample of that crystal rock off of you?
Great work dude ... car looks AWESOME with those LM replicas ... it gives it an "old school" look with a twist. 2nd set of rims is nice, but the LMs are my favorite rims on VWs and Audis. Have you seen the Gallardo replicas for VW/Audis? those things are so hot too. BTW ... do you mind sharing with me the place that you got those rims from? I might be buying a set like this for my next car. I like the TSX's and the RL's and I have seen reps on them too.
