Today was a great day in Maryland, 72 degrees and nothing but sun. Had the pleasure of working on two awesome cars today, one being part of a group that has some of the fastest Subarus on the east coast. The other is a friend who just bought his GTO and needed it prepped for a car show on campus this upcoming weekend. First off the WRX was an absolutely phenomenal car to work on, though the paint was on the softer side I was really pleased with the results considering all I needed to use was a PC to get most of the defects out. The owner had washed it prior to me coming which helped so I was able to move right into the claying the car. Sorry for the lack of pictures the surface of the car was hot because it was in direct sun, had to have it outside for more room to move around the car so I was in a hurry to wipe polish off and such. I used the PC and a yellow LC pad and Prima's Swirl on most of the car, some areas needing the LC orange. I really wanted to break out the rotary today but held off because PC was working so well. Car was also finished with Prima Finish and LSP of choice was P21s which worked wonders on this car. It looked black when I arrived and when leaving had a hint of blue just like Acura's Night Hawk Black. Was also my first time working on carbon fiber and it cleaned up very nicely. Kudos to the guys at Re:Vision and Brainchild for the work they do on these cars. Upon arrival Swirls were moderate on both the carbon fiber hood and trunk lid Front quarter panel Drivers side before Afters on driver side Rear bumper swirl free Roof before After Passenger Side Before After Carbon Fiber Trunk after polish Washed after polishing to clear off any dust and residue After P21s Now to the GTO, friend had already washed it. There was some minor swirling to it and we have scheduled it to go under full correction in 2-3 weeks once exams and school clears up but before finals slam us. The P21s really showed its true colors on this car. First it was taken to with Megs Cleaner wax just to freshen things up then P21s was applied. I also cleaned up the wheels for him which still need working on where there was baked on brake dust in some small crevices. Its all after photos. Thanks for reading everyone, business is picking up and can't wait to share more work. Thanks for looking! Chas
holy crap that guy has 3 subies?!?! They all look to be far from stock as well. Amazing detail on both rides!
It's actually 3 guys, the one that is parked in the garage has a sick amount of mods. They own a performance company called Brainchild. It's puttin 420 to the wheels and has the capability of using racing fuel, full, roll cage, pretty unique dash, it got awarded for best Subaru at HIN, the exhaust on it is one off as well as the BBS's are pretty rare, and wide body front panels. In person its an insane car to see. Here are some pics of it...
Thats a pretty impressive fuel system on the Silver WRX....overkill for 420hp tho, but its obvious with the ability to handle racefuel of at least 116 octane, he can push a lot more out of it. LOL... the last pic shows he has a flat.
