This was a detail I did for a family friend. He brought the car over in the morning, I didn't really take a look at it till I was about to start. I had no idea it was this bad. Regardless though I'm thrilled about the turn around. The wheels definitely far from perfect but I did what I could with it. This is a company car and the company will be selling it soon so thats why he brought it over. Anyways I'll let the pictures speak as usual. I ended up paying $40 or $45 for them I think, he was asking $50. They were a few years old but were in good condition. Took a look at the local HD ones, this one is definitely a lot more sturdy. Glad I found these.
Next time you might want to think about putting a disclaimer in the title for some of us that have weak stomach's, that interior about made me throw up my breakfast just now..lol....hehe. You did a great job bringing that car back, I bet it smelt a billion times better on the inside...are they in construction or something??
Looks great!!!! Looks like the befores were after driving through a snowy winter and they forgot to clean it up before summer?? Nice turn around!!! Andy
What kinda company does he work for? That looks like a construction site truck for gosh sakes I bet his company was exstatic when they got the car back looking like that
He's actually an insurance adjuster. I have no idea how an insurance adjusters car can get that dirty. It's pretty much his car for a few years to use for personal and business, and then after a bit they sell it. But he's a really good family friend as well, he was really impressed. I'm sure his company will be as well. Thanks! Theres a good chance it hasn't been cleaned after winter yet:shrug: HAHA I'll try to next time, thanks! Thanks! I wish I got to polish it though
im amazed to see peoples interiors that dirty. i cant drive my car sitting in filth. that was just aweful and the stuff that came out of the wheel wells was amazing too. really nice job with this car man nice work. hope your bud appreciates the time you spent and keeps it clean until he gives it back.
Dude that interior was disgusting lol, really nice save, I thought you were exaggerating at first and then I kept scrolling down! :gross: Great job :thumb:
Damn I understand people that don't take care of the outside of their car, whatever. But the interior, come on man! I hope you teach him to take care of his car now. What did you do to clean out the wheel wells? Just a power washer or a hose and good old elbow grease? lol
great clean up ... it looks 100% better ... I just wanna be clear, you didn't do any paint correction right? It seems that the 845 covered some of those scratches.
Yeah no paint correction. I didn't notice the 845 covering up any swirls. But no paint correction was done.
