I had the chance to detail this beautiful E92 M3. I've been itching to detail one of these for a long time and I finally got the chance to. After deciding between; Autobalm, Collinite 845, Powerlock, or Autoglym HD I consulted Ken (911Fanatic) to see which would look best. Sure enough his advice was right, although I only applied one coat, it looked amazing on this colour. I'm normally not a fan of silver, but this silver after powerlock looked incredibly wet and deep. Wheels weren't bad at all, just a pain getting into the spaces in the actual spokes. I ended wedging an MF in there and flossing in between lol... Felt great after this detail, owner let me take my time and I did the best job possible. Finally a nice day so the pics came out great. great job as always Brendan! The silver just glows!! Now I know what to use best with silver cars. Can you also share how did you clean the engine?
No need to thank me, Ken (911Fanatic) recommended Powerlock. I was personally going to use Collinite 845
I really like the engine bay, how did you do that? any huge difference between using fk108 or 303 on engine bay?
thanks! In all honesty most were shot in Auto mode. For me and most people that is good enough. So I can't take all the credit lol
very nice work sad about the rust on the gas tank and looks like rust creaping in around the hinge bolts for the trunk.
Yeah it definitely is, but thankfully it's not to noticeable from the outside when it's closed. Thanks Dave! Means a lot coming from a pro like you:worship2:
