I recently purchased some products from Detail King.

Here's the list of what I bought

Sample Pack of compounds and polish

Vibra Cut II - Heavy Cut Compound
Vibra Cut Lite - Light Cut Compound
Foam Pad Glaze II - Clear Coat Polish and Cleaner
Syper Web Glaze - Hi Tech Swirl and Scratch Remover
One Stop Prep II - Single Stage Glaze and Wax
STS 3000 - Advanced polymer sealant
Cherry Wet Wax - Premium Carnauba wax

    Sample pack of dressings

TNT Treatment - Tire and Trim Gel dressing
Pearl Gloss - Ready to use dressing
    Super Blue - Tire Dressing
Non Silicone - Engine and tire dressing
Black out - Tire and rubber dressing

I have only had a chance to test out the cherry wax, TNT treatment, and the pearl gloss.

The cherry wax works well. I'm really happy with the TNT treatment and pearl gloss. The TNT treatment works great on tires and trim, and the pearl gloss I've used for vinyl dressing inside.

Has anyone use the compounds or polishes? I have yet to be able to try these out yet and was curious to see if anyone has tested these products out.

I also purchased a set of polishing pads and the quick connect adapter for my buffer. The pads I got are the Wave Edge 2000 set of 4 double sided pads. Yellow - Med/heavy cut, Green - med/light cut, Blue - Soft polishing, and White - Ultra fine finishing.

No offense, but mostly everything that detail king sells is junk. I would even bother with those "polishes" and glazes. I'd bet most if not all of them contain fillers. But if that's what you're looking for, then by all means.

LOL guess I should have asked before I went and spent the money on them.

Good thing you only bought samples mate!

Very true. I figured it would be better to buy the samples in case I didn't like them.

That's what I get for being a newbie to compounds and polishes. Oh well! Going forward I'll ensure I'm not being cheap! I'll just have to spend the money on the good stuff!

ditto with everyone. just watch this board and learn from the pros. i bought like hell from everyone on the planet and am happy to say my addiction is better. i am down to a few great products and giving away the junk to neighbors. meguires 105, 205, hyper dressing, and even wheel brightener. finish kare qd 425, sprayaway glass. and good towels from ragshak, pakshak , and autowerks. the meguires above are also great values to boot. who da thunk?

different strokes for different folks. Try out the stuff that you purchased as you personally might like what you got. I personally don't think there is a wrong and right polish to buy as the market is saturated with so many different brands etc . . . . .

let us know how you like the stuff.

Yeah, I'm going to probably pick up a test panel at the junk yard this weekend and test them out compared to the Adam's stuff I just ordered. I'll keep everyone posted on my findings.

No clue about their actual products, but I have ordered from them a few times, they have a huge selection of brushes and other weird things. They also called me every time, after my order has been delivered and ask if everything was in order and if I had any questions. Pretty nice customer service if you ask me.

I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again but I don't know if I would order their cleaners and waxes and sealants and stuff because I've already made my choices in those departments.

Yeah I'm still new to the different compounds, polishes, etc that are out there and I'm still sampling to see what I like. My collection is quickly growing and my wallet is quickly shrinking!

LoL. I think people just look at companies like that as being Bulk Related. Some of those companies do make some really nice cost effective products though.

I forgot all about them. I have gotten catalogs from them before. It's good if you are looking for a few different things, but I'll stick to the polishes I have.
