This vehicle was brought in for paint correction/protection, engine detail, interior detail and paintless dent repair.

First item on the list was wheels.

    • Autoglym CWC on rims and rubber
    • Optimum Power Clean on arches
    • Various brushes

    Before:

    After:

    Brushes used:

Attention was then focused on the engine

Optimum Power Clean and various brushes:

    Before:

    - I thought this was curious, a halls wrapper in the hinge area… -

    During:

    After initial dressing application:

    Final after:

    Door jambs were then cleansed:

    Then paint was cleansed:

Left over wax was in many crevices, cracks and seams:

    Initial foaming:

    After dwell time:

2 bucket wash was then performed, and blown and blotted dry.

Exterior was clayed with Riccardo yellow and ONR lube.

Below you will see some random pictures depicting the overall condition of the vehicles paintwork.

Notice how all clarity is gone from what should (and will) be a deep black gloss!

    Paint Correction Process:
    • Tuffbuff wool pad - M105 - Rotary
    • Tangerine Hydro M205 – Megs V2
    • Crimson Hydro 85rd – megs V2
    • Multiple IPA wipedowns

Yes, everything gets corrected (door jambs included):

Now time for some before and after shots… Lighting was dual halogens and 240 lumen Fenix tactical light – All afters in this “before and after” area are before final burnishing

    Before (very deep defects):

    After:

    Before (again, very deep defects):

    After:

Before – Notice the very deep abrasions from what appears to be an area of repeated abuse from the gas pump tubing:

    A closer look:

The interior of the front emblem was far from proud as it was designed to be. That was rectified with a chemical cleanser/sealant Duragloss 501.

Below is a cropped half and half and then full view of full after.

    50/50:

    After:

    Random halogen after shots:

After all correction was cpompleted, the vehicle was once again foamed and washed to remove any traces of oil or dust to ensure a clean surface was present for the sealant to cure properly for maximum durability.

Below are some direct sun shots after the wash but before any protection.

I include direct sun shots whenever the sun is available because any artificial light source can be manipulated to make it appear as though correction was achieved and this is not so with direct sun shots.

    Nahhhh

I once had a scalpel and tried o do minor surgery on myself... I lost a finger

I was given a beautiful set of paintbrushes, paint and canvas.. I tried to recreate the Mona Lisa, It looked like Sponge Bob Square Pants

My Ex had a beautiful set of cooking ware yet, would burn everything including toast

While I choose to post the products and my process, I do so willingly. That is my choice... However, I do not feel anyone is obligated to post their products/process.

Thanks Wes... I wes sent some to test out....

Thanks Jedidiah.. Also thanks again for dropping off the book!

I found the pads and hi def wax at the WM on 23... not sure the cross street but east of Vand Dyke and West of Hayes... They didnt have the wheel cleaner

If you wanna try some out all you have to do it stop on by with a dirty wheel or two...

I am pretty positive you will love it as I do.

My Brother from a Canadian Mother.... Thanks Man

As always I have appreciate you words of support man!!!

    Thanks Marc!!!
