Would the decom pair work as a wheel cleaner for really baked on brake dust? I cant find any Megs WB in Canada, or any other wheel acid, and my wheels are desperate... The Ricardo clays combined with Megs Hot Rims and Orange Lightning Wheel Cleaner (ABFL acid 0.5%) wouldnt touch it.
Yes the acidic portions of decon kits would work. Keep in mind these are designed to dwell for a few minutes as opposed to stronger wheel acids which are made to dwell for shorter time and rinsing fast. But yes they will work provided the wheels are not bare metal exposed..
Try SONAX Wheel Cleaner full effect, a safe 'acid' that will clean any wheel without the risks associated with acids
Do you have access to a steamer? I've heard steam cleaning can do wonders for such baked on brake dust. You could always rent if worse comes to worse.
