Okay some background the two cars in this post are repeat customers. They recently got their front clips repainted by Robert at Final Touch in West New York, NJ. When I got to the house I couldn't believe the work that they did, it was great, probably the best I've seen in a long time. The reason for the repaint was my customers go on a lot of runs and their front end looked like salt and pepper x20 after about 5 runs last year. Now the front ends are repainted and look great. So here I come in to remove all the over spray on the car and polish them out to perfection! The customers will not be driving the cars till the clear bra guy comes in, Nelson at Clear Films. Okay the Ruf550 needed the following: Wash Swissvax Paint Rubber Menzerna SIP Menzerna 85RD Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Swissvax Concorso Einszett Glas Polish for the window Quick interior vacuum, Einszett Leatherpfledge, and Einszett Cockpit for the rest. The 996TT Stage 4 Wash Swissvax Paint Rubber Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Swissvax Concorso Swissvax Autobahn on the wheels (this contains non-stick PTFE in it so it will reduce the amount of brake dust that will stick on the wheels.) Einszett Glas Polish for the window Quick interior vacuum, Einszett Leatherpfledge, and Einszett Cockpit for the rest. Ruf 550 Paint correction: Shots of the rear fender in different lighting and angles. Me with the Metabo and 85rd After shots of the correction: Dan from Concierge wiping it down: After shots: now to the Stg 4 Claying: Sealing up the wheels: Some after shots: Last shot:
Wicked results, the vehicle looks incredable. You know I never was a big fan of Porche but after driving one and detailing one they are wicked cars to drive and to detail. Love the curves it has, I went from a critic to a lover of Porche. I've said it before you guys have a nice tag team going on. Well done. Thank you for sharing.
*droools* Where did the RUF come form? You will have to shoot me a PM if you ever detail a CTR3. I would fly out to see it!
the ruf is a considered a full conversion not a full ruf because the rear fenders were not modified and the brake conversion was not done.
wow looks fantastic, great work. But i think you need to start using ccheaper products, your details make me want to use to SW but its jus so darn expensive lol looks great
Nice! Those are two of the cars I went on the Toys for Tots rally with. Let me say this simply... they are NOT slow lol Good work man they look great!
Why not its basically going from an intensive polish step to a finishing step. I like how 85 finishes better than 106 but that's just me.
Those are some sweet Porsches! I've always wondered why in Gran Turismo the Porsches were called RUF instead..
Wrong Phil Will the real "Pippy" please stand up Here he is.. chicka chicka slim "Pippy" OT: SW on wheels?? Man you are a pimp!!! your work is top notch "triple A", FDA approved hotness
Man how did I miss a detail like this on 2 Porches no less? Man that is some incredible work and man you make me want some Swissvax bad! And I know I'm partial to blue cars but the RUF looks fantastic! Great, great work!
