    Wheel Woolies Wheel Brushes

I prefer these, here is why....... they are dense and really creat surface area, they do an outstanding job on barrels and they do not sling or flick material everywhere, they are pricey but worth every penny.

I recently got the wheel woolies and they are great, but I would say they are best for well maintained wheels...they are not going to give you a ton of agitation strength for brake dust that is really baked on there.

Wheel whoolies are for maintained wheels at best. There is no real aggitation power. Go for the raceglaze xl wheel brush. Itll be the best wheel brush you`ve used. My daytonas been demoted to engine cleaning.

Raceglaze XL wheel brush is good but you might have a hard time find it.

Wheel woolies work great for me, maintained wheels or not. However, the large one has started to unravel.

I haven't had any issues with mine yet and have nearly worn it out. I know they don't feel all warm and fuzzy but I haven't had them scratch any type of wheel.

They feel so hard, I feel like they were made to scrub toilets. LOL

For wheels and wheels only beleive it or not a toilet bowl brush from wally world will do great, I just bought a daytona from phil and will use on the motorcycles I detail only, wheel finishes are very durable, sonax, toilet brush, pressure washer, dry and wax.

True, but I have chrome wheels and they scratch pretty easily.

I've used mine on lots of chrome wheels, Bill, and no worries. I've got another one you may be interested in.

Standing by. I have the Race Glaze XL and don't like it.

+1 ref the Race Glaze XL - Its thin, long and flexible with a long handle, but the bristles are short, thinly spaced, and not very sturdy. After awhile, the bristles flatten out and stay that way. It is also another brush that I would categorize as a "casual user" tool, not meant for production (daily) Detailing.

I like Tampico brushes, but cant always find one long enough, the Griot Synthetic brush Ken put up is pretty good, but it too will eventually wear out. Have the Woolie set, they hold lots of soap and fit pretty good, but not very good at scrubbing, but that may depend on what kind of soap you are using to break up the brake dust in the first place, right ?
