I love the stuff, but when I spirtz it on the car and start rubbing with the foam pad, I can't even see anything streaking behind the pad to show it's being applied.... Anyone else have this problem on their silver car or any car. Like I have no doubt it's being applied but still lol I wanna see it being applied but it's invisible :crasy:

I hear you. I intentionally over-apply the product so that I can at least barely see it being applied to the paint. Obviously, once it dries, it leaves me with lots of streaks but a quick wipe-down with distilled water and a MF towel fixes all that.:thumb:

Optiseal flashes so quick you have to really look. I can't see anything on lighter cars.

The rule with optiseal(and other products that are hard to see): If the applicator slides, its being applied.

If it doesnt slide smoothly just spritz the area and keep goin:thumb:

If the car already has 3 coats, I think the foam pad might glide anyway haha.

I end up using to much everytime, if I look at the right angle under certain light I can see it but in the sun outside, I can't see anything.... Must be a trait of light coloured cars like mine :( I know it's in the pad because I can press down on the pad and leave a moist circle on my windows.Just worried the pad is absorbing to much but It's a yellow foam pad I use.

From now on, a few spirts and I'll rub the foam pad on the surface and just keep tellin myself it's going on, it's there haha :headbang:

Can anyone recommend a good foam pad to use from a canadian online retailer that will work well with it? I see the blackfire ones at autowerks but wondering how good they are. The foam side you use to apply is CCS so I dunno :crasy:

You can always check by blotting the applicator on a window. :thumb:

Anyone recommend where to get some foam pads that work good with optiseal?

The yellow foam ones(and the yellow that came with the OS) work really well.

You can pretty much use any type of LSP foam applicator with OS, it's not very picky really.

Try to spray it on a MF pad and buff it with a MF towel

Lately, I've been spraying OS on the panel and then wiping it on with a microfiber towel, I haven't been getting any streaking at all with this method. I was getting streaking when using applicators to apply.

I always use a Ultra or Super towel to apply it.
