This is my first experience with rotaty, so I decided to use my daily driver as a "lab rat". Amazingly everything turnout smooth, bottom line - I love Makita 9227C. Still have a lot to learn, especially when polishing vertical surfaces. By the way, this car never looked so good since the first day it was in a family ('99 Infiniti I30t, 106k miles on the clock). that's a very yellow polishing setup you've got there haha. you should get a dewalt to complete it! detail looks very well done. and the foam cannon looks bad ass!
Looks great! I don't know how I lived without my Makita, and I really don't know why people fear the rotary! Amazing work, car looks fantastic!
Thanks, I love foam cannon myself! Thanks on Detalt, by I decided to go with Makita, it's lighter. Thanks, me too, I just love my Makita. No more vibrations, and faster correction!!! Thanks, it actually does, I was never able to achieve this perfection level with PC7424, not even with Flex DA, although Flex still did a pretty good job. Gotta love those Uber yellow pads!!! Thanks, Roger. And yes, you may wear shorts, although it could depend on your weather... Thanks, I love it! It is not as hard as I thought. thanks. I love my Makita. I always had a fear to use a rotary, being scared to burn the paint. The main key is to keep this thing moving, and overlap your passes 50%. I'll be doing more paint corrections with it this year, I really wanna master it.
haha - you need to move south! 90 degrees this weekend in Orlando - it's hard to believe that it's almost November.
:yikes: Now that's interesting. I have an Uber sponge (which I really like) and I was thinking about trying out the Zymol sponge. No need to waste my money now. Thanks :thumb: Btw, what did you think of the AG HD? It looks pretty good.
They zymol sponge in my experience is a bit firmer to the feel. They're probably both equally soft, useful, size, and equal in amount of suds it can hold.
they are the same, I have 2 Uber, and 3 Zymol sponges. I really like AG HD, it's really a hidden gem. Very easy application, paintwork looks bright. I've seen a video how well it sheets water...I haven't washed it since I detailed it...Will see... they are the same, like I said I have 2 Uber and 3 Zymol sponges...both work equally well, and hold a good equal amount of water/suds...love 'em!!! thanks, Justin!
