I have known client for a couple of years, After seeing what I was up to, we made a quote and set the date. Cue the music....Whole lota love by Zepplin, cause this one needed some....o.k. A LOT!! Great challanges bring even greater results and make us better at what we love to do!! Upon arrival.. At 125,000 miles, chrome looking dull and in need of reviving...normal use. Sonax Total Effect Wheel Cleaner going at it!! Also, SOS Pads did amazing at further cleaning them...VOLA!! Some interior shots....just did a major vacuum, wipe down, floor mats and windows. Clients asked if I could touch up this area. While not my strong point, I gladly accepted challenge!! While not perfect, it turned out very very well at the end!! Onto Iron X treatment...it was LODADED!! Well Sugarsmacks....missing photos...again!! You get the idea....onto CRAZY paint issues... WHAT??? Front passenger fender was sprayed with something and it baked into finish.. Onward around vehicle... Let's get into it!! I busted out my Makita old polisher and a white foam cutting pad. I read up on the power of using Meguires 205 as a cutting compound. This ride was a testing ground and holy crap does it cut FAST!!! It made one heck of a mess, but most my cutting was done in a little over 4 hours!! Watch and see!! 50/50's.... Hood... 2 main passes at about 2 min's each with a lot of 205/water... Seriously......now it just gets insane!! After 2 main fast passes.... Seriously?? Rockin on!! This level of clarity is the correction power of Meg's 205, a white foam cutting pad and a lot of misting with distilled water..speed at 1800 is all. Half way done....pad change time... My best before and after shots.. Remember this is the first step...defect correction.. Cue "Dont stop believin"!!! Remember that messed up fender??? BAM!!!! Roof and rear lift gate dot the D/A Polisher and this... Somewhere are a lot of missing pics....I went back over vehicle with D/A Polisher and a light coat of finishing wax, then sealed it all up with Sonax Netsheild... Let's roll Da Bus out da door!! Upon pick up, clients jaws hit the ground and are probably still there!! This was my biggest challenge to date, took about 20+ hours and it was worth EVERY second and ounce of energy I had to give!! I LOVE DETAILING!!! Push on guys and never turn down a great challenge!! You HAVE greatness in you!! Let it flow in detailing!! Pursue and go get your dream!! Thank you guys and gals!! Hoover
