D2G Detail: A College Kid's Car (OMG!!!)

Long story short, car belongs to a college kid who neglected the heck out of it. Parents called me up to fix it and that's what I did.

Wash:
Rinse
Awesome APC on all lower panels and front end
Foamed with C/G Citrus wash and APC
Ulti-mitt, D2G soap in bucket, short handle body brush
Awesome APC on front end again
Foamed Again
Rinse
Sprayed car down with QD (helps drying)
Dryed

Wheels/Tires/Wells:
Wheels got Meg's Wheel brightener, used grout sponge to clean
Tires pre-treated with Awesome APC, brushed... Dressed D2G tire dressing
Wells pre-treated Awesome APC, powerwashed, dressed with AA tire foam

Paint Care:
DG 105 via UDM and Orange lo-pro pad... speed 4.5
Aquawax wipe down

Other:
Trim dressed D2G dressing


Interior:
Cleaned out all the crap
Vaccuum
Apc wipe down.. used MF's, swissvax wheel brush and a stiff brush
RL interior dressing
Floormats and carpet pre-treated with mix of RL extractor solution, C/G Lightening and Folex... then extracted with 210 degree water
C/G odor neutralizer

Looks good! That car was pretty nasty? Were there some bugs etched into the paint?

Man that's was a dirty vehicle, nasty, the seats did you see the seats :yikes: that's just wrong. Man you did an incredable job on this one Champ wow I mean from the seats to the cup holders, to the doors oh and the stripes man love those stripes :headbang:

thanks there carlos... see now i have to play catch up to you!!! especially in the polishing department.

on this one it looked alot worse than it was.... atleast i think so. but on the time i worked on it froma bout 9:45 am till a little after 2

 

Oh come on Champ that vehicle looked bad, I mean the carpet the seats...the objects all over the place is not a big deal but all the stains, that's just wrong. It dosen't help that the colour of the interior is a light colour too...oh but man your fast bro. I spend an average of 4hrs just in the interior wow I should call you "flash" :rollinglaugh: just teasing.

I spy an XBOX 360 controller HAha! Man I've never seen bug splatter like that in person...that's just awful. Man college kids sure neglect their car (I'm glad I don't neglect mine ). That was an awesome job!

You have no idea... the back passenger seat was full of tobacco leaves!!

No marring as far as i could tell... I made sure the pad was well lubed at all times and didn't let get dry

and that quote at the end is halirious... I was thinking i should knock on the door and punch the guy in the head for letting it get so dirty

definately a nice collection of "stuff", should of kept it and sold it on craig's list

i love my mitt i am sick of sheep skin and terry cotton mitts. plus if done close to 30 washes with it and it doesnt even look worn.
