D2G Detail: 2005 Infinity G 35/ Lusso Oro Detail

    Finally decided to use the Lusso Oro system after it sitting for a few months from ordering it.

    Wash:
    Rinse
    Sprayed front end and lower panels with Awesome APC
    Foamed with CG W&G
    Micro fiber wash mit, and D2G soap in bucket
    Used grout sponge to clean wheels
    Rinsed
    Sprayed down with QD
    Dried

    Wheels/Tires/Wells:
    Wheels treated with Meg's Wheel Brightener, the wiped down the QD
    Tires treated with Awesome APC, dressed with D2G dressing
    Wells treated with Awesome APC, dressed with AA tire foam

    Paint Care:
    Lusso Oro Cream via LC white lo pro bad, via UDM on speed 4
    Lusso Oro applied on a blue LC CCS pad, via UDM on Speed 2
    buffed off with some MF's from DD

    Others:
    Exhaust tips polished with Boyd Coddington's Metal Polish
    Headlights got Meg's Plasti-X

    Interior:
    Vaccuumed
    APC wipe down with Swissvax wheel brush and nylon brush
    CG leather cleaner
    PB natural look on seats and trim
    Carpet and floor mats got CG Lightening, worked in with a mf
    CG odor neutralizer
    Windows got SIG via WW

    Sweet!! Great Job, I have one of these lined up for a detail when it gets better outside, same color too. Now, I have a standard to keep up with. Excellent work getting all the little details done, and with the headlight and muffler.:thumb:

    thanks bro... glad i could set a standard for ya:chest:

    I normally do the tail pipes, but the headlights i normally charge extra for, but I was feeling generous and hadn't gotten a chance to use the Plasti-X, so this was the perfect opportunity... there was slight oxidation on the lens and it cleaned right up!!!

    How did you apply the Plasti-X? Hand or machine? I overlooked that at first... Nice cleanup!

    i charge extra for polishing... so not alot of call for it... the oro was very nice to work with. it was easier off than souveran

    i did by hand with a MF towel... if it were worse. i would prob use a orange lo pro pad and pick the speed as i applied the product
