Well, since I was waiting for my detailing stuff to come in, decided to finish my other hobby project! This is my 4th pair of customs that I've done, really enjoy it. Shoes were bought ALL white. Any other sneakerheads out there? Materials used: Angelus Leather Acrylic Paint (Graphite, yellow, black, sapphire.) Assortment of paintbrushes (including some cloth ones, I find they work better for the smaller lines.) Angelus Satin Acrylic Finisher Warm water + hand soap (initial cleaning, shoes are two years old - excuse the nasty creases!) Washing Machine (Yes, a washing machine. Shoes are washing machine safe IF you put them in seperate pillow cases, and delace them. NOT DRYER SAFE. Dry quickly.) The writing on the front of the shoe is a mix of Traditional/simplified Chinese. It really doesn't say anything since i purposefully linked the characters, but initially it was the band's song titles. (Band I chose was "All Out", love them.) Edit: Images re-sized now. Sorry about that.
I love shoes also, but I think i'll let the designers due what they do best in my case. Nice job man. Btw I thought you were talking about rims when I saw the title. :afro:
That looks awesome. Im a sucker for a fresh white pair of airmax 180's because im boring but those look sick!
Thanks for all the kind words guys! I plan on doing another pair once I find a job! Themes/color schemes ideas are welcome, I was thinking a Graphite/Black/Red shoe next. @Slanguage - Are you looking for the same/similar design? (Side Icon could be changed pretty easily, aswell as colors) It would be AROUND $80-150<- wouldn't go this high unless you wan't something insane if you send the shoes. Price includes materials + shipping too. If your really interested we should talk, PM me! I'm pretty flexible.
Oooh very cool shoes :thumb: I think they look better then the way the normally come well done :applause:
Oh if you think those are loud...Here are some shots of my other customs..it gets crazy :thud: You can see some cracking on the toe - result of my first shoe / mediocre prep work...and some dip s*** stepping on my foot. Edit: Excuse how dirty they are, Seattle weather hasn't been kind to them the past few months and I haven't found time to clean em' up yet. As for cost with shipping + materials it's not too bad, about $80 - 150 (if you want something crazy), it varies alot it all depends on what you want. If anyone is really interested PM me! I've never really been contracted to do a pair so i'm pretty flexible. Again, thanks to everyone for the kind words! Means alot:worship2:
