here are a couple pics of my car with Crystal Rock and my new wheels. the wheels are Morr vs8's and they came from the coater with some problems.. i planned on having the face polished down after the season anyways b/c i just needed wheels and they were having a problem polishing/machining the face flat. of course they figure it out the same week i got the wheels. oh well at least with the damage i am not even going to show i am extremely pleased.. but i still think i need a polished face to set off the contrast. i included a shot or 2 of my car with my stock wheel and Crystal rock as well. these photo's were taken a few weeks ago i can't remember if i posted them up or not! hope you enjoy em!! products used.. Wow, car looks great.Nicely done! That is quit a list of product you have there.about how much money in supplies did this detail cost anyway???:worship2:
plenty!!! i think i have 95% of what SV makes beside waxes. i only have concourso and Crystal Rock and every time i think about getting Mystery i think i would just buy another pot of Crystal Rock. it is the best wax i have ever used. the overall quality of the look in depth and wetness combined with easy on and super easy off without any flakes or sweating coupled with the least amount of dust attraction by any nuba i have used makes me want to marry Paul for coming out with it!!
Nothing but the best for you...I think thats great...I had just tried pinnacle sig series II for the first time over this week end.looks like I have some catching up to do...:worship2:
Thx Carlos!!! yeah i like them.. but i still think the face needs to have that raw metal look to have some contrast with the rest of the wheel and vehicle. the real issue is all the defects coming from the coater.. if i posted up the pics people might be throwing up.. luckily all the wheels besides the rear passenger look good. the problem is under the tire. they all had adhesive eating through the paint right where the tpms sensors had to lay flat. and since morr didn't get a chance to check them over b/c they were expedited shit hit the fan. still i don't know how any coater could let them leave the factory with paint on top of tape!!!! and adhesive residue 6 inches long right where the tpms has to lay perfectly flat to sense tire pressure. but all in all i really do like how the rims look. at least i don't have to pay to have them refinished now!!! i can live with it for a couple months.. the ride on these wheels with the ps2's totally made a HUGE difference!!!!
Oh okay, from the pictures I can't see those defects..well I'll have a double look at them again..but I like the style of the rims :thumb:
no offense, but how did you managed to have two different sets of wheels in those pics??? Other then that, it looks awesome!!!
i stated the i just got my wheels earlier this past week and the other photo of was of the first day i had the ROck on the Car a few weeks prior!! i have given her 2 coats of Rock in 2 months or so. i LOVE the ROCK and why would i take offense? they were taken on 2 different days a few weeks apart. i was just showing a nice pic of the wax showing it's glow!! also i was showing a pic of the tub b/c i forgot if i had posted those already or not. didn't you read the whole first post? i just ordered a huge goodie package from phil with i think every QD he has just to try them. plus a few other refills and microfiber and such. i can't wait!! Phil is the man!!!!!
thx guys..i really love the 335. i have had it for over a year and in 15k miles only had a faulty bulb holder.. the car rocks!!! i have had zero issues and i have a dinan tune which brought it to 390hp and 420 tq. the car is a beast!!!!
Didn't know that there where so many BMW fanatics on here like myself. I was thinking of picking up some of those VS8's but I think I will wait to see what the VS7 version 2's are going to look like, as I like the OEM 8 twin spoke CSL design. Other than that the car looks great and I am jealous of your Swisswax products.
i had the old vs7's and sold them for these which are night and day a million times better.. i hope the vs7 has the same design but one more bi-spoke . i really much prefer the 7 though. i love that style. once i found out he was making these i sold my vs7's asap!!
Yeah I like the 7 spoke as well becuase it looks like the QD7's but I wish he didn't make the front concave but just the rears like: Neez, BBS, RAC and other companies. For some reason that I think it looks off when fronts that are almost as concave as the rears. I love the weights on his wheels though.
funny because the fronts have much much less concavity!!!! i actually wish they had a lil more!! the rears have soo much it looks AWESOME!!!! i Love these rims everyone i know likes them way more than the vs7's i never even put on my car. i bet the new vs7.2 or whatever is gonna look Hot and take a lot of the positives from the vs8!! good luck both look awesome!!!
