Who uses creeper seats when detailing?

What one(s) do you have? where did you buy it/ how much?

Looking to invest in one very soon, to save my back from some unneeded stress.

i currently use a snapon seat but I'm in the middle of deciding to purchase one of those racatac units.Really looks like it will be great for the low panel polishing .

I'd be too nervous that it would hit the paint.

I use the craftsman creeper seat. It works Good...I'm also looking for something that I can get a little lower on the panels. I have the same problem as you Roger...I bought it a long time ago. Sorry. I don't remember how much it was...:thumb:

The one that rwisejr is talking about sounds good and it also sound expensive...

Are you referring to the one DSMS has posted in one of his recent details? Any links perhaps...

I currently use the Craftsman Creeper Seat. I'm thinking a Racatac may be in order soon... it looks pretty useful!

$189.00. I'm not paying that much for a creeper seat. I go to Sears or Harbor Freight instead.

I've been looking at these too but damn they are expensive. Heck I think I can get some of the guys at work to make me one.

Seen a creeper some where which doubles as a creeper. You can flip up the end to make a seat.

im thinking about getting one sometime myself. probably just a cheapy craftsman one. they're like $40 at kmart.

i use them at my Monday-Friday job all the time for lower areas etc and its a nice luxury. not necessary though, IMO.

I got mine at WalMart. Its pneumatic, raises about 4 or 5 inches. I even have an old mechanics stool I leave at work. I think it was $20 OR $25

I've seen some at BigLots for about $20 also.
