Anyone help out on how to get crayons that are melted into a fabric car seat? any help would be greatly appreciated godoman
Freeze them and use a dull object to flake it out of the seat. I use a chewing gum remover spray I get from a local janitorial place.
i second the chewing gum remover i think steam may smear it a bit there is something i used called graffiti remover it was for crayons ink pencils
Haven't tackled wax or crayon in an interior but for a home carpet I freeze with ice and scrape off whatever I can get off. Then I use a steam iron over a terry cloth to melt and blot up the rest. I'd think in an interior a steamer and cloth would be a workable method. TL
if you use the optima with this situation it would re-melt the crayon and then make it bond to the carpet permanently. I have seen it happen to little specs in floor matts that had crayon flakes in them. definately a no go with the optima on this one godoman

One thing you can try to is, get yourself a brown paper grocery bag and open it up so you just have one layer of paper and use your clothing iron on a med-high setting. Place the brown shopping bag onto the area of thewax and go over the area with the iron. The paper will soak up the melted wax like a sponge.
