Costco is the cheapest unless you build it yourself. Or you could buy it directly from CR. They have free shipping and you wouldn't have to pay sales tax.

I got mine from Costco as well.

This is a piece of equipment that you cant appreciate untill you use it. Its worth every penny IMO.

Got mine in a GB from Phil @ DD. You prolly get the same quality water out there as I do here. Imagine it's the middle of July in our neck of the woods, 100% humidity. Car is baking out in the sun on the driveway, spray it down with the CRSpotless...BAM, dry car with no waterspots in minutes.

The number of cars you can do before you have to replace the resin, via cartridges or bulk resin (most of us with them will recommend purchasing the bulk resin and re-using the cartridges), depends on your local water quality and how you use it. I measured 141ppm out of my home tap; a good 7x the minimum number required for a spotless rinse. Heck, even @ 17-20ppm I noticed faint waterspots.

Being the silly man that I am, when I first got it, I tested the CRSpotless in my washing machine to see if it helped the rinse cycle at all and I also used it overzealously on a Decontamination wash...had to replace the resin too quickly. Suffice it to say, I only use it now to fill up the bucket for ONR washes, dilution ratios and final rinses before application of LSP.

My friend was amazed after I rinsed his Boxster down last fall. When you first use it, you won't giggle hysterically like a schoolgirl like when you first use your foam cannon, but it's definitely something to behold. And don't sit there staring at the car drying to make sure you don't get any spots, LOL! You'll find that you can accomplish so much other stuff while waiting for the car to dry without any waterspots.
