The Cquartz I had been sent previously was not the final edition of it; it was a beta or test sample. (I call it beta and Avi called it a "test" sample: whatever the difference may be, it was not the final product). I did the last 2 doors on the passenger side. I also went over the whole front section (2 fenders and hood) with Cquartz. I layered it over the Aquartz. There were no issues whatsoever in bonding. Here are some pics of the final product:

Is there any news about any stores carrying it? Mike at autoaesthica said they were gonna start the preorder by this past Monday but haven't heard anything yet. I might have to order it from Avi.

Awesome Richy, this just makes me even more anxious to get my order of Cquartz! I would love to see sheeting/beading videos/pictures, how much slicker is it than the beta version?

Now that's what you call sheeting, damn it just glides off the paint.

It's like scratch proff too, I guess that means your washing techniques dont have to be perfect, also looks like a great products for outdoor daily drivers

That video made me jizz in my pants, I now officially cannot wait to try it this weekend. That is some of the best sheeting and beading I have ever seen, wow.

I just got done using my C.Quartz for the first time; so far, I have only applied it to my mirrors and windows since I still need to polish most of the car to get rid of some little bits of marring here and there from the dealer.

Let me just say that this stuff is easier to use than most of my waxes. It buffs off effortlessly and is pretty forgiving to over application. I wish I could elaborate more right now but I have to run, I will do a full write-up in the future!

Christian, there's a change to the instructions I'm going to update people on. The bottle says to let it sit for 10 minutes. Do it for 30. Especially when it's colder outside. The temp requires it to sit longer. It will still buff off easily.

i know this stuff looks fantastic on its own, but can you top it with any nubas?

You could I suppose. It has a real wet look to it when it's done. If you don't like that, it would not hurt it to top it. You will lose the awesome sheeting and beading effect though as it will be the wax that will be reacting to the water, not the CQ.

gotcha. its just that feeling, i don't like to usually go a few months without waxing or topping up my personal vehicles.

How do you maintain it then, do you use any QDs then or are you forsaking anything that might diminish the beading/sheeting qualities of Cquartz?

If you want to keep with the Cquartz system you can use reload spray sealant to keep it in top condition.

Thanks Ankeet, I actually am really loving my sample size of Reload Avi sent. In fact, I think I will be ordering more if the durability is 3-4 months as advertised. I am anxious to see your thoughts on the Raceglaze Black Label too. :thumb:

I am HOPING it comes in on Monday...sucks waiting for something to come in and not knowing where it is in the world LOL

I would get Reload but just got some c3 in and dont need anymore toppers.

Reload is - IMHO - so much better then C3, so I would get it :)

The beading that Reload gives is unreal, I have never seen a spray wax or sealant that is so easy to use perk up beading as much as Reload. Then again, I have never seen such tall beads out of anything other than CQuartz so I was in beading heaven even though I wasn't happy it rained after cleaning the car up haha.
