Cquartz showing my flake

    I had pulled my car into the sun to shoot a few pics of the PERL on the tires and the paint was looking amazing just shimmering in the sun. It really hasn't seen much sun since the CQ was applied. Here are a few shots showing it jump off the paint:

    This link HEREshows me preparing the car from brand new and the process to apply CQuartz. I also used some of the original AQuartz on the interior wood, wheels and plastic wheel wells. I have since also used it on my leather.

    I'm so happy that new black cars generally have flake in them now. They look so much better.

    I actually disagree with you there. I find metallic black lacks the depth of reflection and clarity that the straight black does. The straight black shows every sin which is probably why you are seeing less and less of it offered.

    maintaining swirl free solid black seperates the men from the boys

    very interesting you applied over leather, wouldnt it cause it to harden?

    Love the new car! I will let you know. I'm good for probably a month. I need to order a new 5 gal of DG 901.

    I used the AQuartz on the leather. I first tried it on my black running shoes and they look great and are supple too. They did not affect the leather feel whatsoever.
