I have a foam cannon that's only a few months old. I bought the coupler you need from pressurewasherparts.com and it is leaking between the 2 black pieces. Has anyone else had this problem? I am using a Karcher pw and it has worked great until now. It really causes the pressure to drop or else I would not care. I will call the company tomorrow but I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem as I am late to the foam cannon party. Here's the coupler on the site (bottom of the page)

I would get rid of the coupler all together and get quick connects. Can you send a pic of the set up?

It needs the Karcher attachment though Ken..I'll shoot it tomorrow.

Sounds like you have a broken o-ring You should be able to get a new one from a local plumbing supply house

+1, this is what has fixed my leaks. I found a pack of o-rings at the hardware store, all different sizes. Very cheap. The seals seem to go out after time, presumably because they get wet and rot when they dry out. Try using a rubber conditioner before installing the new ones.

This is why I went with a whole new hose, trigger gun assembly, and quick connects as opposed to the karcher adapter. My set up has been going for almost 2 years and I haven't had to replace a thing yet.

Hmm, I wonder if usage or climate has something to do with it. I have the whole fancy setup, not quick connects before the gun and to the PW though.

It could either be a busted o-ring, or maybe tighten the allen-head bolts in the center of the connector.

I tried tightening the allen fitting yesterday..does the O ring just slide in over that part?
