What's up everyone. I was just curious as to what everyone who details for a living or side job wears as far as a uniform goes. Would it be ok to post up photo's of company shirts just to see others designs? Right now i just run silk screen shirts and have been doing so pretty much since i started but i'm looking to change things up a bit at some point and get new screens made and new shirts. Post some pics of your shirts up if possible . . . .
I'd make sure that the shirts are soft, whatever they are. There are certain kinds of t-shirts that I buy that are really soft and comfortable material, I feel that'd be best.
yeah i think i know exactly which ones you are talking about too. Problem with those i think is they would wear out fast. I use to have polo's made up but i got rid of them as they started to fade. I think i'll have like a half dozen polo's made just for the days when i am going into a wealthy area or to approach a business to introduce myself or something like that. Wearing polo's on a regular basis in this Hawaii heat is lethal.
I wear a really stupid looking microfiber apron. But it's very safe for the accidental paint contact.
nice . . . . . got any pics of that bad boy? I think ankeet has one of those microfiber aprons as well.
basketball shorst and a t-shrt when the weather is nice. nothing hard on it so it wont cause any damage.
Ski masks and chain wallets work best for approaching new clients. They basically just throw the money at you then!
is it safe to assume you work from home? I wish i could show up in clothes like that but i don't think that would portray a very professional image on my part when arriving at a customers home. Sometimes i wish i had a house to work from for that reason.
I have shown up to customers that way. I do this on the side, but if this my main source if income and did this everyday, then it would be different.
gotcha. nothing wrong with that. So anyone got pictures of their uniforms or work shirts that they had either embroidered or silk screened? icture:
I've been in the biz nearly 30 years and have never worn anything but street clothes. Mainly white t-shirts and shorts eace: I do admire folks like NorCal Bob and the outfit he rocks. You can just tell that guy is all about his business like an insurance adjuster aranoia: Most all my customers I have had for years. And any new ones have been reffered, so I just don't see the need in this for my particular purpose. Plus, it is 109 here today. I could not imagine trying to sport some heavy polyester :what:
Hey that's slick and btw nice flooring LoL. The shirts that i have are cotton and pretty light weight so they breathe rather well. Most of the time depending on if i have any clean or not i usually wear they really light weight black shorts and my shirts (cotton) are a nice bright blue with white lettering but i have had the same design since i started and wanted to re-design the shirts and add my website address and so on. Make it a little more eye catching.
