Customer of mine picked her truck up from the body shop on Friday, and noticed a film on her windshield and cloudy hard to see. She came by on Sat for me to take a look and ashed what she could use. It looks like clearcoat was sprayed on it, don't think its overspray. My question is what could use to remove this? She wants me to take care of it for her on tuesday, never had this problem before..so need some suggestions on what to use. Thans for any information..:applause2:

sounds like clearcote to me matey.
might sound harsh but if your carefull and you can get it over there use extra fine wire wool and take it steady, it will soon shift it:thumb:

I would take a razor blade and see if it can be scraped off or if it just smears... that will give a very good indication of how thick the coating is and if it has hardened.

The first thing I would try is a cleaner called Bar Keepers Friend. It is almost like Ajax cleaner expect this is made to clean glass stove tops so it won't scratch the glass.
    Hope that helps.
