i was reading same thread lol now i remember what the search button does helps insert foot in mouth much easyer lmao. i still like the classic but time to try the premium i'm sure it will be great.
I'll see what I can do. VOC regulations prohibit us from selling to California the strictest of all regulated states. We are also pulling away from aerosols and petrol distillates. Some technical info: One thing to note about Cockpit Classic is that even though it's a petroleum distillate based product, it's a high volatile solvent versus a low volatile solvent. What this means is that the petrol distillates in the formulation cleans the surface, carries the care components and then flashes (evaporates) quickly. When you have a low volatile petrol distillate, it evaporates very slowly and in that time that it stays on the surface, it can break down the rubber/vinyl/plastic (sound familiar?). As examples, gasoline is high volatile and mineral oil/baby oil is low volatile. But the overall trend is to pull away from petrol distillates all together not only because of environmental reasons but also because of our desire to get away from any petrol-based ingredients. As we learn better alternatives, it's becoming less of an issue. Anyway, thought maybe some of you would like to know If you have any questions, let me know.
