have a buddy of mine wants me to detail his corvette ( 07) is the clear coat soft, medium, hard need to know so I can have a game plan to polish, If is either one say med what polish would you start with? I have xmt#3, merzerna p106ff, merzernz power gloss and assortment of pads and a rotory. :applause2:
The cc is hard. I would start with a green ccs pad and some sip. If the above polish is all you have then try a white pad with 106ff, then go back over it with 106ff and a blue finishing pad. Is this all the polishes you have?
Vett's clear coat is hard, but always start light and work your way up. I've had to use Power Gloss on these vehicles and even then it took a few passes..but you never know, you might get lucky and get a reasonable clear coated Vett...:laughing: :laughing: :laughing: I almost said that with a straight face hahahahaha.
