Cleaner?

What is a good cleaner to use before your LSP? I have been using DG 501 but looking for just a cleaner. What do you use and recommend?

 

I like Lime Prime Lite better than Swissvax cleaner fluid.

 

Prime Lite and P21s are the 2 I have my eye on at the moment.
Do you use the cleaner after your done polishing the car? Do you use it on all cars? Or do you just polish, wipe down with alcohol/water then go to your LSP?

 

Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion on my own cars.
Pink Moose on all others.
Yeah, done after polishing.

 

Right now I'm big on Werkstat products. There is a learning curve with them. I've tried Dodo Lime Prime and do like it alot. It is an oily product so careful when choosing your LSP. P21S paintwork cleansing lotion is also very nice to use.

 

After i polish I wipe down with prep-All and wash the car before i apply LPL and my LSP.

No where as oily as Swissvax Cleaner Fluid. That stuff is reaaaly oily.

 

To me, LPL's consistency was similar to KAIO. But the way it made the paint feel after removal was different than KAIO.

 

What LSP works better with an oily claner?

 

A wax, sealants are picky over what they will bond to and you won't get great results if you use it over an oily cleaner.

I like ZAIO as a cleaner after polishing with sealants, and OPS when I will be using a carnauba.

 

Why would you want an oily cleaner? Doesn't that sort of defeat the purpose of wanting to use the cleaner? Just thinking out loud. I picked up some Danase Pure Polish but haven't had a chance to use it yet, hope it's not oily.
