I used to use CG CWG a ways back and it's a nice soap "to use" but it is pretty strong and could affect the LSP after repeated use. For some reason Citrus Wash Clear (which would be ideal for prep instead of maintenance) is weaker than CWG. Duragloss 901 is a really nice soap, I've used it probably 3-4 times and it glides great and leaves a slick finish.

It's hard to judge a soap in "cleaning power" in my opinion; I've yet to run across a soap that hasn't lived up to the normal expectation of cleaning but with soaps you aren't going to get some mind blowing sap removing solution. To be honest, it's the agitation that removes the dirt so slickness is a bigger issue.

Can't beat 901 as it has good lubricity, foam and price is great. It says to use 1oz per gallon. Our water is soft up here so I use 1oz per 4 gallons and it still foams like there is no tomorrow.

Duragloss 901 is really nice and it's an OTC product.

I have been extremely happy with these soaps too:

    1. Majestic Solutions Ultra Gloss
    2. Zaino Car Soap
    3. Chemical Guys Glossworkz

Another one for Majestic Solutions Ultra Gloss it has great lubricity and foaming and leaves your ride almost as good as if you just quick detailed it after drying. 2oz per 3 gallon wash and you will have an amazing wash. I also have Chemical Guys Clossworkz its lubricity is ok... so I double the amount of ounces recommended by CG I use 2 to 2 1/2 oz in a 3 gallon wash to up the lubricity, one thing is it doesnt foam hardly at all.

The Duragloss 901 works very well. Smells great too! I've used it in my foam cannon as well. I believe I put in 2-3oz. and it foamed relatively well.

Ok, so is MS UG better than Duragloss 201 and if so in which way? I want something that will give a WOW factor with just a wash but yet still clean well and be durable.

    My last 3 soaps were:

    Megs NXT
    ICE Car Wash
Armorall Ultra Shine Wash and Wax
