I picked up the new toy. There were a few things I wanted to address, namely the headlights and front bumper.

    Headlights process:

    -Wetsand with 2000 unigrit sandpaper.
-Compound with Optimum Compound via LC 4" yellow pad.
    -Polished with PlasX by hand

    After Wetsanding:

Car looks great, but damn so does all the grass and flowers to be in Conn. You must be having some killer weather there.

Hey Don, They look great. Did you have to sand for a long time starting with 2000 grit. Sometimes thats what I what I run into but there are less surface sratches when I'm finished. I just need more practice. how was your experience and how long did it take you. Thank you, Buddy...:thumb:

This detail is a couple months old :D.

Thanks, I really like it. Basically a Mercedes in American packaging. They stopped producing them late last year and sales stopped this year, so hopefully they will continue to be rather rare.

I did have to spend a good amount of time with 2000 grit, I was paying close attention to the level of the headlight while sanding. I didn't want to go too far/deep and ruin the headlight. The whole process probably took me 30-40 minutes.
