Hi there just wondering I have some aftermarket 22" chrome bonetti wheels. Just wondering theres some brake dust and other marks on them that won't come off with cleaners have tried eagle one atoz and p21 gel. I guess the best thing would be to polish them what polish would you guys recommend. I have mothers chrome polish, optimum metal polish, eagle one metal polish, p21s polishing soap and megiuars chrome polish. Do you think any of these are good to use or should I buy something else. Thanks in advance for the help

You have to be careful with chrome as it'll scratch very easily. An acid based wheel cleaner is your safest bet to try first. Something like poorboys spray and rinse or Megs wheel brightener. If those don't work look for a wheel polish that is chrome specific.

so you wouldn't recommend any of polishes I listed in my post above.

maybe even get a power cone for a little more bite than just rub with a micro fiber cause i use the cone when and power ball mini when detailing bikes and the chrome cleans up so nice

I use p21s on my bike chrome all of the time. It does a really nice job.

You may need to clay your wheels, it sounds like brake dust has possibly etched your wheels. For chrome, I use Deep Finish Chrome Polish, just google it. It looks like chocolate pudding, but leaves a blue hue to the wheels that is outstanding.

Then order some Blackfire Metal Sealant from Ken@autowerkes exclusive to protect your wheels and you'll be golden!

You could use the products that are chrome specific, just try them on an inconspicuous area to be sure they wont scratch the finish.

For a polish like that I'd prolly grab a MF applicator pad...

blue magic is pretty decent. i use it on exhaust tips sometimes, and I feel its on par with the optimum metal polish.

tried WB on supra wheels yesterday. that stuff is the shit, cant belive it took off what diablo or p21s wheel cleaner couldnt, and it didnt had to sit on wheels at all. sprayed on. brushed with with SV wheel brush and it came right off.

megs wheel brightener is my new sleeper. try that if all else fails
    i had it diluted 4:1
