This is a -65 Chevy Impala with a 572 engine(690 hp) but with a very bad paint job, as you can see in the pictures. We(my friend Linus) and I was going to make it look a little bit better in shortest time, and after some testing, we decided to use Menzerna Power finish on a polishing pad. Some areas got a couple of hits from Megs 105 and Menzerna Fast Gloss, and where refined with Megs 205 and Menzerna Super finish, both are great combinations , but the Fast Gloss had a slightly more cut but it also took longer time to break it down. After the polishing steps, we used a couple of IPA wipe downs and then we sealed the lousy paint job with Fireglaze.
im developing a thing for these american muscle cars, especially when those tv show shops do modern rebuilds great correction lol @ 690hp and drum brakes
Oh, you noticed this also. I was going to say something, but I'm trying to be nice around here :tiptoe: Those wheels are fruckin butt ugly also. Look like truck tires :giggle: OP, please don't take offense. I realize your just responsible for the paint correction on this car, not the designer :headbang:
