I tried it today for the first time using a red CCS pad on my UDM. It did yield a decent shine. I tried to keep the amount of product minimal, enough so that I could see a haze on the surface that it was on there and wiped it off right after. I kept going over the worked areas until it appears hazy in nature. It was kind of a pain to remove, It appeared as though some areas it was blotchy...

Anywho, any problem areas I wiped off after a spritz of distilled water. I then went on to apply a coat of JetSeal 109. This product came off very nicely after application.

Any tips/tricks to using Vertua-Bond on how/when it should be used?

I know Phil(FMINUS) uses it. Might want to pm him.

How long did you leave it to dry for before buffing off?

Some products like to be taken off a panel at a time instead of after the whole car is done. Just an idea as I have no experience with VirtuaBond whatsoever ;)

I took it off as soon as I am done working that panel/area. Whatever I have worked in one complete pass.

Being very new to detailing, I have no idea if using this product changes anything. I used it in the following combos with great results.

    CG Vertua Bond 408
    CG EZ Creme Glaze
    CG JetSeal or DG 105
CG 50/50 or Dodo Purple Haze

Does anybody know if the Vertua Bond helps something at all?

It's intent is to be a paint cleaner, prep for their sealants/waxes... to the best of my understanding.

I wish there were more discussion of this as I bought the product and have yet to try it. I'll probably wind up bringing it to the meet.
