Chemical Guys shipping is soaring high

Hello again... we all want deals here and Im not trying to be cheap or anything, I just wanted some sort of reduction of shipping charges due to all my purchases from CG are mostly gallon's...Im not trying to give CG bad reviews just that maybe anyone here could help me or try to work a deal with CG to lessen the burden on charges..

 

btw I called CG and spoke with the lady and she spoke to her manager and said he cant help me with shipping only give me samples but i didnt need any more samples.. just want some reduction on shipping

 

It seems high to me also, but the weight of those gallons is what i think got you. Also everyone in their brother is raising prices due to fuel going up.

 

Not only are there prices high for shipping, the shipping itself is slow. I ordered something last week and it took 3 days just to process..

 

i hear ya... this is just going to deter me from buying then.

 

i hear yah... i mean they should work something out for us people here who are loyal to them and spend alot of money and give them business... im not asking for reduction on items but maybe just something for the shipping atleast.. Alot of companies offer free shipping if you order bulk stuff even so I think we deserve some kind of break.. I really dont care if it takes a week to get here but it could be frustrating but i just want some reduction on shipping not free but something that could help..

 

Last time I ordered from them he said he will throw in some samples.. but i never got it and Ive emailed him and no response after my business and yet I still give them business... Am i wrong?

 

I have never called in to order but I heard that he is a very nice guy. I am thinking of ordering the jetseal109 and 50/50 kit pretty soon here. Anybody recommend this? Should I call when I order?

 

ive used Jetseal and I wanted to order 50/50 and both are good products... Go ahead and order.. I tried to see how much to ship pete's wax and shipping alone is $10.00.... it really sucks but what can i do..

 

CG does have expensive shipping..they use fedex the most expensive shipper...all shipping rates will go up soon due to Fuel surcharges....then it will be real expensive...but I wonder why CG is so high..I can order 5 gallons of duragloss stuff and pay 4.95 to have it shipped....they get cheap rates for being large volume shippers..so chemical guys must ship alot also...so they should get a high volume shippers rate...

oh well what can you do...when it come to paying 1/3 of the purchase price to ship...then its time to look for alternatives...shipping is going to be a killer ...

i totally agree and im going to lean towards different products... for $50, I can get so much other products with it...sad but what can we do... where do you order your DURAGLOSS products?

 

I am new here, but I feel EXACTLY the same way!!! I have been ordering from either Auto Detailing and Car Cleaning Products, Tools, and Tutorials - Detailed Image for the pastes, or Welcome to Detail Emporium! (no shipping charge last time i ordered) Because I saved 27 dollars on shipping the items I wanted!!

(neither of them have gallons, but 53,50/50 and jetseal are much cheaper to order from them!)

 

I order DG right from the factory....you get fresh stuff....and they ship out the same day if called in early....

I ordered from CG on the 16th of this month...I called today it was not shipped yet...6 days and no shipping...so thats my last order....I got some MF's to try out..bare bones...another 50/50 since I like that wax and they lowered the price again...VRT to try out and some pads ...and 6 days gone by and my stuff was still there....

now i ordered from Top of the Line the same day and I got my stuff already...some hi temp stuff....

I was hoping to get my CG stuff on my days off (Wed Thurs) this week..looks like i wait another week for it..takes 7 days to get here...

I called CG yesterday to place my order. Although my order was small ( a few microfibers and a hat) shipping wasn't so bad. I asked the young lady I was talking to when it would ship and she said "it will go out today and if not tomorrow for sure" I forgot to ask for any sort of order number or tracking number while I was talking to her. I might call just to check to see what's going on. I also ordered some of their product (undercarriage spray and wheel cleaner), but I ordered them from one of their distributors.

 

That is an insane amount for shipping..... Duragloss ($5) and Surf City (free shipping) rock for shipping!!!

 

agreed. shipping is expensive and it takes days to process. They forgot parts of my order last time.

 

im assuming everybody agrees... we should all march to CG and get this sorted out hehe...

 

FMINUS should just open a cg shop and send to us.

The undercariiage spray and wheel cleaner are both great products!

Also, my doorbell just rang.. a box from CG! Sad thing is I ordered it on the 14th, but I'm glad it's here before the weekend.
