so they are the 3rd company to produce MF polishing pads...

First is Meg's, then Optimum, and now CG.

    anyone gonna try them?

    F1 Pad - polishing / finishing

    F2 Pad - cut / compound

    too many things at once...

on another note, they also have a new water containment mat for like $568...whoa.

They sure are flooding the market with products, good for them though they appear to be doing well and I can't say I don't like their products because I like a good chunk of them. The videos make the MF pads seem pretty effective but Megs and Opt. both seem to be as well. I'm sure one of us addicts will try it out.

Soon enough everyone will have MF pads.

Does LC have a MF system? Really strange if they don't.

I am loving my Optimum MF pads. I hope CG's are as good as the Optimums.

I saw this earlier. I am not sure if I can ask this, but are the CG pads actually Optimum pads?

I think from the looks of it, the CG pads are the exact same as Optimum's.

I'm all for MF pads and plan to make the switch. Never liked the way foam deteriorated so quickly but will keep a few on hand for soft paints/LSP.

can you use normal polishes with micro fiber pads? I just bought new bottles of polish that will last me two years, but I am tired of burning through foam pads, can I use the micro pads with Menz polishes?

It seems like a lot of pros and enthusiasts have experimented with using different polishes with the MF pads and have had success, just trial and error.

Thanks for the You Tube link - I think :)

Is it me, or does that guy remind you of the ShamWow guy ?? Totally annoying to listen to.. :)

His "we created this pad with......" spiel - wow where have I heard that before? :) Did everyone all of a sudden decide to make microfiber pads, test them for 2 years, and now they are here? :)

Think I could have fallen asleep watching him using the 3401VRG - would help if they speed that process up,and maybe show a close up of the before hood and after hood so we can all see how much was actually corrrected..

I think they are trying to talk more about product, than technique. Technique and how much the paint can be removed is really determined by the user of the machine and the actually paint and condition of the vehicle.

I will say this, I have the CG microfiber pads and the Meguires MF pads right in front of me this moment..... The CG pads appear to be of much higher quality. My Mequires system was kinda a disappointment to me because the microfiber separated from vecro during use. I might spot polish with the CG MF pads later the afternoon when i get out of school.

You are right ! This video is about product. Thanks !

Have also heard others say that the Meguiars system used per the instructions included, and had pad/velcro backing failures too.

If these Optimum/ChemicalGuys/? microfiber pads work better AND can be used on a Rotary, wow, that would totally be a killer deal.

Some one once mentioned why has not Lake Country done this too? Well, I read on Liv2detail that they have just gotten a new line of Hybrid foam pads out for testing and some people have them now. What will they/everyone think of next ?? :)

Totally on board for moving the technology forward with products that can exceed both performance and durability along with competitive pricing..

I have messed around with MF pads and different polishes on a few cars including my own over the past few months. Honestly, its has its place just like everything. on some cars it did a great job, On other cars like my mustang I noticed i achieved higher results with foam..... But i still feel a really pro has everything in his reach when it is needed, So i have these ready to go anytime.

I really, truly dislike the guy in these videos .. it's almost as if he feels the target audience for their products are mildly retarded the way he throws out the same, over-exaggerated, adjectives .. I could have nightmares just from hearing the words pop, crisp, luster, deep dark, shine, etc ..
