I recently watched a video on youtube that showed someone putting a layer of Black Light over two coats of EZ Creme glaze .. I was under the impression that Black Light had light cleaners in it .. wouldn't that defeat the purpose of putting the EZ Creme under it ?? some people say Black Light is a new type of LSP .. some say it's an AIO .. some say it's a glaze .. anyone with experience know if it's okay to layer this on top of a glaze such as EZ Creme or Glossworkz .. thanks !!

Haha I don't even think cg knows. I use it as a glaze and follow up with a sealant.

My gut tells me EZ creme and BL are probably 99.5 the same thing. When EZCG came out there were talks of it's capability to be used as an LSP but also as something to put something on fresh paint. Same is said of BL...\

Keith if you haven't bought it already, I would just wait. Otherwise if you have jsut use it as a paint cleaner/cleaning style glaze(with a polishing pad or finishing pad) and top with whatever you want.

yeah unfortunately I've spent around 2K in the last two weeks restocking EVERYTHING so that I'm probably 110% whole again so this and a lot of other products are sitting there waiting for me to go detailing crazy this Spring and Summer lol I smell products a LOT and with CG certain things about EZ and BL seem VERY similar but I've had loads of success with EZ so I'm thinking of doing as you say and probably treating is as a glaze and just toping it with a sealant then my nuba .. I'm so damn excited for the Spring I can't even EXPRESS IT lol all new shelving, epoxy flooring, painted walls .. already have a whole new security system installed throughout the house so I'm pretty much set .. I think the only think I need is to stock up on new pads for my DA and I'll be hopefully taking a bunch of pics for you all lol

BL has some cleaners in it and will do a decent job knocking down, not filling, light swirls. A few pics were posted on another forum where a 50/50 was done with BL and pic was after an IPA wipedown. Using it after a glaze would seem pointless.

EZ creme removes swirls too. I bet its damn near the same.

Good to know Mike. I've never tried it as its sold as, well, a glaze! LOL I prefer Wet Mirror so I'll have to see if that removes swirls as well.

Don't forget what the term glaze used to mean 10 years ago... a product with polishing ability to remove machine swirls left by wool, initially not intended to conceal..

I know a lot of people use glazes for their filling while others boycott them but I like to use them because I do feel it gives the paint an extra "pop" .. obviously most of the people on this forum machine polish so filling isn't a real big thing but it's nice to know it's available .. what's confusing is the EZ has some really good filling and I guess I was hoping for something similar with Black Light but I'll have to see how it does .. been trying to track down Glossworkz Glaze and can only find it on one retailer online from PA .. I've heard a LOT of good things about this glaze and Wet Mirror but I have too much as it is (which disappoints me to no end) LOL

no, honestly packaging makes a huge difference, it is time CG step up its game, the inkject labels are horrible and dissolve. I really like the direction they went with the new polishes, and blacklight.

Yeah, V7 over BL is nice, I got about 4 months on my moms MKX, no complaints. In fact V7 on its own is fantastic.........Reload will blow it out of the water though.

I do use glazes like Wet Mirror occasionally after polishing to add a bit more depth and wetness but never instead of.

They also need to perform spell check.

I shall now demonstrate by reading off parts of the product description on Diablo gel AS IT IS LITERALLY WRITTEN. I will highlight some problem areas.

"... Diablo Wheel Gels unique Extra-Slipper formulation lifts break dust, dirt...."

    and in the directions...

"Always use on cool Surface, recommended that you....dirt and grease Always dilute...and allow time to clean Biablo can sit as long...."

They misspelled thier own product name WTF!!!!
