Hm. looks like an interesting concept. Make some at home with some used pads and see how it works out.

Would the results be different if they put polish on the outer part of the pad? When I polish, I put a ring around the 2/3 area of the pad, not a big puddle in the center.

Interesting.. would like to hear from the veterans of detailing (Ken, Dana, Jon, DaveKG) and their ideas of the pad..

Could be snake oil.. could be a revolution

I can't tell from the picture, is the back velcro? or do you have to buy their backing plate?

These look very interesting. Please let us know how they work for you. Did you go with the 8.5 or 6 inch? Looks like you have to use their bp as well...an expensive proposition. In theory, this makes sense. I know after a few panels, my pads are always saturated in the middle and i go clean them. I am very interested to see how this works for you. The other VERY important thing is how good the pads themselves actually are. LCC pads rock and it would take a lot for me to switch.
I looked at their website and it looks like you have to use their bp too although as long as you could centre it, i don't see that it would be mandatory.

I agree. Who puts all that polish in the center of the pad? I put two or three pea sized drops on the pad evenly spaced about halfway between the center and outside of the pad. If your pad is saturated, you are using too much polish. Period.

WHAT they are showing you that when you buff the product you use tries to force to the center of the pad not good. with their pad it pushed the product to the edge of the pad where you use most of the time lol.
you guys better watch the whole video an listen good you missed the whole point.

Interesting concept. I watch the vid twice but still don't uds whats the unique thing in the pad that helps to push the polish out from center. Can somebody explain? All along i tot is the direction you buff that affects where the polish goes. The design reminds me of the LC VC pads, lol

The way i understand is centrifugal force that keeps it out of the center cause the center is open cause pressure to push out.

A very interesting concept, using centrifugal force to spread polish over the face of the pad, immediate thoughts; 8.5 –inch is a larger pad then I personally prefer to use (6.5 or 4.0 - inch)

    Theory –it should work well.

Practicality- until they are hands-on tested it’s hard to say

it's got my ear for sure... don't care much for their backing plate, would prefer to use my Rubbish Boys plate instead, too bad they don't have 5.5 or 3.

looks interesting. thats why you dont put polish in center.
if they say it prevents wasting polish maybe they should stop using big pads
