I recently tried this and didn't care for it. It just seems like a rebottled silk shine dressing. I tried it on my truck and it lasted about 2 days then wore off. I went back to my regular dressing.

Arghh...Always wanted to try Extreme EZ-Creme Glaze, but its not on sale...

    Did anyone try this:

    CLAYBLOCK-SURFACE CLEANER CLAY ALTERNATIVE (BLOCK+LUBE)

Is it worth getting over traditional clay? Also, how is their clay? I need a new pack or two as mine is getting old and probably needs to be replaced - will probably grab either above mentioned clayblock or regular clay...

    Reading CG annoyng me...

Just a few month ago they sell SUPER DUPER UBER MEGA PLUSHEST IN THE WORLD BECAUSE THEY ARE THE BEST..

but after reading desc it say

"The Myth.- Thick is great, but what you have to keep in mind is also the quality of the towel is #1 in importance. The weave and break down of 80/20 or 70/30 is often times overlooked because people keep looking for bigger, fatter ,thicker towels. . As manufacturers we see our fair share of towels daily but sadly enough most of the towels we have seen keep getting unnecessarily thick and the quality of them is just 80/20 making them nice to look at and touch but lousy at detailing.

. In looking around we have seen some nice soft really thick towel...but do they serve any real purpose. Extra thick towels are usually very poor at absorbing and do a lousy job as a buffing towel or a waxing towel and even as a drying towel . Many retail sales companies advertise HUGE but don't be fooled the quality of the towel is first in important.

BTW I don't thing the price change really any.. the 12 pk of yellow was 18 a couple weeks ago..

It's called marketing, but some times too much is worse than too little

Well at least the myth they wrote is true! The more I use thick towels the more I hate them. I only see them as a final touch as they are much harder to do damage with. They suck at drying, buffing waxes they do the job (with more work required), polishes- forget about it! And a lot of the time they fold over on themselves. And the yellow ones they offer are the perfect thickness, but lack true quality IMO. I prefer to buy 16x16 Grey (double sided- one plush one really short loop) They have rounded edges, made in Korea, 70/30 MF. Yes, they cost a pretty penny, but well worth the cost!

A thick towel is like a bragging right, sits there on the shelf and when I show my stuff to friends etc. You take out the big boy, and then leave it until next time.

    Just my 2c

This whole "wacky 1 day sale" seems like a huge marketing money grab to me. I just looked through their list of supposedly wacky sales. Alot of those items have been that price for the last year or more...

It's ok, honestly nothing special. It's good to use for heavy surface contamination especially when you don't want to waste nice clay bar in places that would compromise the clay instantly like the rocker panels, door sills etc. It's good for cleaning heavy build up spots but IMO I wouldn't use it for key area' such as the hood, trunk etc.

Btw - The only good sale CG is having is on the atomizer. I want to order some just so it saves me product in the long run.
