What the heck, does anybody else have this problem? This is 5:1 and I havent read anywhere about somebody having this problem. If I vigorously shake it it only stays mixed up for a few seconds. Help??

Look, its to the right of Sticky Gel:

That doesn't look like Grime Reaper. How about your original bottle? Is it blue/purple or is it that red color? Did you buy it from CG or another vendor?

I bought the gallon sized jug. It's a dark purple. I bought it straight from CG, too. I dont want it to be a bad jug, I have a BMW Alpina B7 detail coming up :(

You know what product looks similar and would explain your buoyancy, CG Barebones is oily and is purple in color. I bet you that would explain the separation when combined with water, maybe they had an issue with labeling?

LOL, my barebones is blue, and my grime reaper is dark purple. Paul assured me it was the right product tho.

I wonder if the labels are mixed up? Then again why is there a strike though on the apc UPC?

There is a strike through the Grime Reaper bar code because CG does not use standard 12-digit UPC's. Their bar codes are for their internal system. If you scan all of the CG bar codes, many other them use the same first 12-digits, so they ring up the same.

I can assure you, these bottles are correct. We have gone through a couple cases of Grime Reaper and Bare Bones (16oz and 128oz), and they are all the same, and all good.

If your Grime Reaper doesn't mix with water, it isn't correct. Barebones is oil based, and will not mix with water.

My barebones was that rich blue, and grime reaper is normally a purple-ish color.

But I've seen grime reaper in a few different colors now. So I have no idea.

My grime reaper mixes just fine. You do not have grime reaper. What are you trying to mix it with? Doesn't look like clear water.

I think it is water. The bubbles in it shows he may have just shaken it, hence the cloudy color. I could be wrong though.

wow. never used either product but either way that product in the bottle is red. It's isn't blue nor purple. I would contact CG. The sooner you contact them the sooner it can be figured out so maybe you will have some when your detail comes up and some of the correct stuff that is.

Hmmm, my barebones is purple just like the picture of Barebones posted above. I will bet right now that the labels are mixed and you have been trying to mix Barebones with water and the stuff you think is barebones is mixing because it is probably Grime Reaper.

Why don't you find a place to test each product on plastic to settle this once and for all.
