I am this close to getting the 5l of TAW but just want some opinions on what you think of using CG CWG 2-3oz to a gallon in a sprayer or CG Bug and Tar remover as a TAW subsitute.

Has anyone tried this? If not would someone that has either CWG, CG B&T and TAW mind trying this for me on lower panels with grime/tar/bugs and provide a comparison results?

    Thanks!

I'm considering the same with a concentrated CWG.

It's my understanding that P21s TAW will strip wax when used directly on paint. I could be wrong, but have read some posts regarding this. I've had good luck with 1z Anit-Insekt and posted a review in the reviews section, but after the tough STL winter with snow and salt, I went through 1 bottle on my 2 cars. However, it did work very well for me, but expensive. I would think TAW would work if you were planning on applying a LSP afterwards. I have used it before on my front bumper to remove some nastiness and it worked very well. But followed up with some Duragloss AW on it to hold it over.

Congratulations you made a thread title using only detailing abbreviations, tell him what he's won... :applause2:

Im going to be trying the mixture I had in mind for awhile real soon. DG Ultimate orange @ 12:1 plus 2oz Citrus wash and gloss per gallon.

Im going to use it on wheels, wells, and lower panels of the car. Im hoping it cleans well (of course), it clings to surfaces somewhat, and its safe on everything. I dont really care if it strips LSP, thats fine for me. I think most products that are stronger to help with easy removal of the grime will do at least some LSP stripping.

I will post my results for sure, and I can compare it to TAW.

I'll PM you my adress for the prize:headbang:

As of earlier today I have been thinking about how the DG UO would work and from what I have been told, I dont think you will need any CWG in there but I will be VERY interested to hear your findings!!

I am sure it will strip lsp...

    Thanks!

I was wondering if there was any lastest Update on this thread? - Thinking of the same things your going to go for. But have to pick one out of the 3 options which would be recommended?
