So, I just got some Chemical Guys 50/50 wax last week. Now I have never used any of their waxes before, so I need advice.

I know to obviously put it on thin, but how long do I wait before removal?
Also, how long do I wait in between coats if I decide to do multiple coats?
How long is durability? 3-4 weeks? or longer?

Thanks for any tips/advice about this product.
    -Roger.

I use WOWO method with pretty much all my paste waxes, except RBOE. It is the easiest method. As far as layering, I put another coat of wax 12 hours later. As far as durability, it depends on wheather the vehicle is a daily driver, garaged, etc...Anyway you should get 2+ months from a single coat.

WOWO , new formula will give ou 6 to 8 weeks. old formula is about 4 weeks.

Do you guys wax on one panel and immediately buff it off within a minute? Or is it fine to do the entire car (should only take ~10-15 minutes) and then remove it? I wasn't sure if it's bad to let it sit while applying a coat to other panels. The detail will be performed in a garage, so cool weather and no direct sun light.

It works either way, application method is pretty much your personal preference. I personally do majority of paste waxes wipe on wipe off application, I don't let it dry, otherwise it might become a pain to remove...you can let it haze if you wanted to, it might become harder to remove and might require a spray of QD to remove any hazing, although that shouldn't happen with 5050, it might happen with other hard paste waxes like Megs #16.

I just waxed my car this morning with 50/50 and I let it sit for 5 min then remove it. I did 2 coats on the roof and hood 30 min appart. The car is in the sun right now and it's not sweatin at all. What a shine !

Sry maybe off topic but anyone use a PC with blue pad after wax? Does it takes too much wax away? :shead:
