cen-tech paint thickness gauge and 845

hey guys. went to harbor freight tools yesterday to look for clearance 845 but they didnt had any. but found cen-tech paint gauge for $9.87, yes $10 not $100. you have to look for it at local store, its not online couse its left over stock. store near me had it in glass case(where rest small expensive stuff are so look around. gauge is as accurate as HL II (i do have it as well)

also some stores might have colonite 845 for $8-9 (mine didnt had it but racersky said one near him had it.)

Some people have all the luck. Both of our Harbor Frieght stores are out of the paint gauges.

Gonna stop by another harbor freight before class tomorrow to see if they have anything i could possibly find.

I just found it on eBay for $139... maybe Harbor Freight made a huge mistake. Saw one go on Meg's online for $50. I should have bought one

harbor freight had it, they discontinued it and it is on clerance now. somebody was smart and cought on to the deal and started marking them up 10-14 times and selling it on ebay

i could have done same thing but im not like that

i called most of NJ and PA stores around here. nobody has it. or at least they dont know where to look for them

Stores should be able to look up my product number that is what I did when I called.

 

I went there today with a product number (which I forget at the moment). The store manager found the hook where they were supposed to be, marked with the $9.99 price, but there weren't any left. He said that they were "flagged as a deleted item" or something like that, and were unlikely to resurface, at least at that store.

I've seen Collinite at that store once before, but it was a couple years ago. At the time, I didn't realize that 845 is known to settle in the bottle, so when I saw it, I figured it was old stock, and left it on the shelf. I've never seen it since.

 

Which one did you go to? One Capital? If so I had the last one and asked them :giggle:

^^ dont think $40 is right one. from what i know. clearance price is same and controlled from their home office so if they put ups bar code in computer it will show up same price
