If I'm taking stains out of mats or upholstery, I still have some old terry towels and some of the DF towels..I like using white for stain removal.
Never used towels to dry carpets/mats/ or seats. I run the heater in the customers car to do that. If they are low on gas, I do not do it. I also use a hair dryer as mentioned before, as well as a blower. My Carpet Extractor also had a blower/upholstery dryer on it, so I tend to use that sometimes as well. I'll work on the floor mats first and set them in the sun while I am working on the interior of the car. If it is cool out, or humid, I will stick the mats in the car on the seats while I am running the heater.
I use that exact blower for the carpets. I need to buy another one though. They seem rather small, but do move quite a bit of air.
I think I paid 25-30 bucks for it at Walmart. They also carry them at Lowe's/Home Depot. They are pretty small. Small enough to just place on the seat, and point downwards towards the carpet.
You guys who use those... don't you like to use a microfiber first to pull the dirt out of the carpets?
I use the cheap MF towels From BJ's Warehouse and then I go for my shop vac. I don't want to suck up to much water in the beggining and I'm not sure why...
The extractor I have has a suction feature on it. Then I let air dry while I finish the rest of the car. That small blower is a good idea
