Does anyone know where I could get the lift in this video at 2:46 into the video? YouTube - KDS Full Detail, High Quality
If you want one for your house garage see this link The "M" House - Razed and Rebuilt Detached Carriage House/Barn - Start to Finish - The Garage Journal Board BendPak's website BendPak MD-6XP Mid Rise Lift, 6,000 Lb. Capacity, Portable
How much are these lifts? For example... the 6000 or 7000lb lift? Do they sell them to ordinary consumers? For example if I want one for my own home garage?
Do these types of lifts just sit on the floor of the garage? I'm not an engineer, but it would seem kind of unsafe pulling a car up like that with no bolting to the slab.
google it. there are many different types, and manf. some are smaller and can be moved around, some are larger. some cost 1000.00 some cost 3x that. just depends. Ive looked into long before i was detailing simply for the fact it makes lowering cars, suspension and exhaust mods so much easier. @ auto concierge what kind lift are you using?
Kind of looks similar to a SP-7X but if it was for my garage I would get a LR-60P. It would take up a lot less space plus you can wheel it around making it easier to store. http://www.bendpak.com/car-lifts/specialty-lifts/SP-7X.aspx http://www.bendpak.com/car-lifts/specialty-lifts/LR-60.aspx
that exactly what I need, I dont want it in the middle of the garage unless im working on a car....... but it needs to be low enough to drive my car onto so i can park it. thanks for the link
Automotive Lifts | Auto Repair | Northern Tool + Equipment Lots of selection there with Northern Tool's pricing on BendPak and Torin lifts.
My lift is a Snap on Electric, 6,500LB capacity and is moveable. $2,350.00 USD to buy it and I have had mine for over two years without a hitch(Snap on tightness)
