    Hey everyone.

As i have been going gangbusters lately with learning new things, trying different options, and seeing what works best for me for certain detaling task, the drying of a car has been a good one. I have always used a water blade and a Absorber, and found great results.

I then moved towards the blade and WW dryers, which are WAAAY better then the absorber has ever been...defeintly a great choice....

Iv read so much about the use of leaf blowers yada yada, and decided to give it a go to see results. I purchased a great quality stihl blower, expecting great results. What a dissapointment

I tried with both ends, flat and open, and even though the machine moves air 240mp/h it didnt really seem to do much except bead the water up and push it around(Car waxed 1 week prior with fuzion)

Dissapointed to say the least, i was back at square one...but its here when my brain actaully turned on...

I have had this little beauty in my garage for quit a while, and have always used it for blowing cracks and wheels, but enver an entire car...Hands down best blower available, and has two speeds...what a great drying helper

bought it from a local farm supply store, tool orignally used for drying livestock and horses while being groomed...lol

(not exact unit, but you get the idea) Light enough to carry around with ease

That looks like a great little blower. It would sure be alot easier to handle than my shop vac that can be used as a blower. It works well but its cumbersome.

You may know this and if so ignore me. You really have to be careful with those water blades. They have a nasty habit of picking up grit that can do horrible things to your paint. Its really hard to prevent grit from sticking to them so just not worth the risk IMO.
    Cheers, G

That was jsut a goggle image, Just type in Lifestock hair dryer, horse hair dryer etc and you will find stuff.

Yah the waterblade can def induce some scratches, thats why ive switched to air drying

Best thing for drying for me is the leaf blower. Not sure why you didn't have success with it as I have NEVER had it fail me:shead:. Now if you want the very best then invest in a CR Spotless system and let mother nature dry it for you with no water spots!
