This is one SHARP lens. For the price, it's excellent value for money. It will teach people that photography isn't about zooming in and out, it's about moving your feet and getting that perfect shot by putting a bit more thought into it. This one is IT!
Go for it pektel.....its a pretty cool lens and its not going to hurt the wallet like its 1.4 brother. I use mine alot.
Damnit. I'm in 275 already. The only reason why I'm torn is I was planning on buying a 3400 stall and 4.30's for my car. But that can probably wait. A lens is an investment. Car mods are an expense.
Do it, do it!!! Think about it this way: you can never lose money on Canon equipment. If you don't like it after a year, you can sell it for what you bought it for on POTN or on Craigslist.
Thanks for the push! I needed it :thumb: Now I will own: Canon 18-55 f3.5-5.6 non IS kit lens Canon 70-210 f4 non IS push/pull zoom Canon 28-135 f3.5-5.6 IS USM Canon 50mm f1.8 Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4.5 HSM I may want to sell that 70-210. I need some room in my gear bag.
Oh yes. I've had my eye on one for quite some time. Probably stick with the f4 though. I can't justify the price of the 2.8 This is the one I've been eyeing: http://www.amazon.com/Canon-70-200mm-Lens-Digital-Cameras/dp/B000I1X3W8
