Cannot get Bosch twist lock on foam cannon to fit?

I have a B&D pressure washer (bosch fittings). I ordered the appropriate stuff from polished bliss, however I cannot compress and turn the foam cannon into the pressure wand.

Anyone else use the bosch fitting? It's also found on task force pressure washers at Lowes and Husky brands as well. I'm not sure if it's a spring compression thing or a twist issue or what.

    Looking for suggestions! :)

I know, right? I can't see any obvious issues.

i do, it looks to me from the 2nd picture like the metal "nubs" are a bit wider and longer than the plastic "nubs" and may be what is causing it to not be able to turn when you insert it.

Nah the nubs are the same size. I tried this on a another PW at Lowes and it fit, so there's something with the B&D pressure wand that's a bit different from the typical 'bosch' connection. So back it goes to Sears. I picked up a Task Force pressure washer for a tiny bit more than the B&D one and it's 100PSI higher rated and has an onboard detergent tank.
