On the back of the bottle of M105, it has a picture diagram that says for rotary and hand use and on the new bottle it says both of those as well as for DA use. Thats the only way to tell. As for the pads, make sure they are the "2.0" series of foam, it should be obvious on the packaging. good luck!

You for sure prime it with the actual product, whether it be 105 or 205. Here is a link for better referance:

YOU ONLY MIST WITH WATER USING WOOL ONLY! You can bump it up to 1200rpms if necessary.

    Stunning results, wow!

But my question is: how much paint does this remove as it sounds like it's an aggressive approach. It would be good to see before and after paint readings.

I couldnt tell you, but I have seen other peoples results and they are seeing less than a micron of clear being removed after this method. It is a very aggressive method, but the work time is short, so you do more correcting in less time. Its kind of like a get in and get out kind of deal, if that makes any sense!

Hmm, seems like there may be a trade-off to the KB method. I guess if you didn't want to go too aggressive at all, you could use M205 and a finishing or no-bite pad. That's the only idea that I can think of...

there is a rumor going around that 205 can pull out sanding scratches with the right pad/technique..ill just leave it at that. Its all in the process of how you use it.

    I am HERE!

I look this site and a thread or two, but not doing a whole lotta posting at the moment...
Every spare "computer" minute I get I am working on the "P" word...

I do keep an eye out... :tiptoe: But for now I lurk with the best of 'em.
If there are any threads I can add helpful information to, I will if I catch it.

I do post here and there (MOL, autopia, TID), but not a bunch lately.

I LOVE the looks of this site as well as the overall "feel" though, and it has the BEST Smilies!!!
