This is the detail from my thread My prices are too high.
After talking with the customer he asked if I could clean his 06 F150 and make it shine without polishing (he did not want the pay for it). I told him I can make the white glow it will still have the swirls. He was ok with that. I do not use AIO products alone because I have yet to find one that will last so I always top them if I use them and the price we agreeded on I did not have the time for extra steps. So that is why I choose to use the combo I did. I know this will last.
Arrived at his house at 8am unloaded my containers from the car and set up.
Rinsed the engine with the hose
    Cleaned with Zep Citrus
    Lots of towels and brushes
    Rinsed again
Dried with Leaf Blower and towels
    Wiped down with FK 108
Let it run for 10 min
Cleaned bed liner with hose, brush and Majestic solutions super green stuff
Exterior trim cleaned with a brush and Zep Citrus and ONR
Washed with ONR and groute sponge dried with shag rags and vroom drying towels
Clayed with ONR and Meg White clay
Wheels, tires and wells cleaned with Zep Citrus and ONR
Wheels then got Meg Hot shine spray
    Interior vac
Wiped down with ONR from top to bottom
Opt Protectant Plus on Leather, floor (rubber mat material), pedals, door panels and dash
Cleaned interior glass with Zep professional glass cleaner
PC with 5.5" LC ccs white pad speed 5
Duragloss 501 mixed with some SIP
    Cleaned exterior glass with Zep
Polished exterior B Pillars (black) with Meg D151
Protected all exterior black plastic with FK 108
Wiped off DG 501 with DG AW and shag rag
I forgot my camera so here are the cell phjone pics

You made it Shine w/out polishing :applause:

:giggle:Talk about a base unit, that thing is bare bones. I can understand why the guy didn't want to spend $700 on a detail :yikes:

I'm sure you can add another delighted customer to your rolodex

He purchased the truck to use at construction sites only. Now he is trading it in for a Sonata. He said he will pass out all the cards I gave him.

Sal..good for you, man!! When you said "shine w/out polishing", DG 501 came to mind. good call there and especially with amping it up a bit with the SIP. Smart cookie you are. White is a great colour to work on. I'm very happy for you Sal.

Thank you Dana. Greensboro has been good to me so far with details, I would love to do this full time

Thank you much Richy. Not smart I can remember things though lol. A yr ago I was talkin to Al-53 about the DG line he got me hooked. He mentioned then to add some Menz polish to 501, this was my first time trying it and it worked great

    Thank you

Thank you, reminds me I need to order more cards with my new address
